“Christian Leadership for Reconciliation”
In an era where our region faces complex social, political, and cross-border challenges, the Church must rise as a prophetic voice and engage strategically to influence positive transformation. Christian leaders are called upon to move beyond passive observation and actively address pressing regional issues such as governance, conflict resolution, and social justice. By embracing strategic engagement, faith leaders are encouraged to assert their influence in decision-making, advocate for peace, and champion reconciliation efforts. At the 2025 Institute, discussions will explore the role of the Church in regional advocacy, the intergenerational dimensions of leadership, and the importance of cross-border engagement in fostering unity and cohesion. Through this lens, the 2025 GLI Institute will challenge participants to reflect on their responsibility to shape ethical leadership, strengthen community resilience, and ensure that the Church’s voice is heard and heeded in public discourse.
